Reimbursement for InnerWork Therapy Services
Clients pay for sessions at the time of service. Every 3–4 sessions, I provide a completed CMS-1500 form, which includes all the information your insurance company needs to process out-of-network claims.
You simply upload or mail the form to your insurance company (instructions are usually on the back of your insurance card or on their website). They’ll then reimburse you directly, based on your out-of-network benefits—often covering a portion of the session cost after your annual deductible is met.
If you’re unsure how your out-of-network benefits work, I’m happy to guide you through the process and help you ask the right questions when you contact your insurance provider.
Insurance & Payment
Insurance companies often limit your choices—they decide which providers you can see, what type of treatment is covered, and how long it can last. For that reason, I don’t work directly with insurance companies.
Instead, I offer a standard session rate and support clients in using their out-of-network benefits. This means your insurance may still reimburse you for a portion of the cost. After 3-4 sessions, I’ll provide an invoice (called a superbill) that you can upload to your insurance company. They’ll then reimburse you directly—often around 60–80% of the session fee, depending on your plan and deductible.
I’m happy to explain how this works and help you check your coverage during a free 15-minute video consultation.
